Over 20 years ago, Marcia joined a start-up health consultancy and led its growth from zero to £20m in 7 years, then sold it to the Mott MacDonald Group (MMG), a £2bn engineering, consultancy, and development Group.

At MMG, she became one of the top nine executive leaders – and the first female one.  She left five years later, having successfully integrated her team into the larger corporation, further grown it (including through acquisitions), and taken on additional responsibilities within the Group (in total circa £80m of revenues).

Marcia then enjoyed her planned time off with her young family for the following four years and returned to work in 2012.

Since then, she has started, grown, invested in, and contributed to the growth of over 50 SMEs.

She has led other businesses growth herself and has worked alongside hundreds of brilliant owners and leaders of SMEs and their teams, supporting them to achieve sustainable growth for their own businesses, and to plan and to execute their exit strategies.

Since 2012, she has been involved in another dozen or so M&A transactions.

Marcia has also been a Non-Executive Director of several growth SMEs and of WYG, a £160m AIM listed consultancy.  She was part of the Board of Directors selling WYG to Tetra-Tech in 2019.

Marcia is passionate about working with owners and leaders of SMEs – particularly those seeking to achieve sustainable growth.
