Rachael is a senior management professional with 20 years operational and strategic experience, including as Board Director. She is a talented leader and manager of people. She has worked in a number of small and medium sized enterprises, where she played a key role in their growth and development. Through this work, she has gained first-hand experience of the issues faced by SMEs as they grow, including the need to plan and manage change, to communicate well and support staff in times of change, and to develop and implement sound management systems, processes and structures to support successful change. Rachael now works as a senior consultant to iNGOs, SMEs and larger corporations.
Rachael has significant experience in business development, particularly with the UK Department for International Development (DFID) – with detailed understanding of their procurement processes. She is known and trusted as a safe pair of hands for the delivery of sensitive and complex projects and tenders, and is highly skilled in partnership development and management. She now provides consultancy services to clients on: growth and diversification strategies, business planning, business development systems and process strengthening, and partnership development and broader strategic collaboration. She also provides strategic bid support and guidance on tendering for new opportunities.
Rachael is also a mentor to managers and senior professionals.
