Ann supports organisations in the areas of: strategic planning and governance; programme and project management; change management and team leadership; funding policy and practice and evaluation and research. She is an experienced facilitator and also provides coaching and mentoring support to managers and team leaders.
Ann has successfully developed strategies, delivered programmes and led teams at senior level in the public, voluntary and private sectors. She has considerable experience of supporting people to work effectively in environments of rapid change and expansion.
Prior to becoming a consultant in 2007, Ann worked at a senior level at Big Lottery Fund and one of its predecessor organisations, the New Opportunities Fund (NOF). Her work there included supporting the management of a merger, strategic and corporate planning, internal communications, risk management, programme and project management, customer care and equalities. Ann headed the development and delivery of NOF’s first portfolio of 14 health funding programmes. Prior to that, Ann spent nine years with Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), where her main role involved managing 11 development programmes in East and Southern Africa. She also has private sector experience in publishing and bookselling.
